When surveyed, Citygate House consisted of torch-on vapour barrier, 100mm insulation (Under building regulation) and single ply covering. The membrane had become de-bonded and was beyond repair.
To bring this project up to regulation London Felt Roofing stripped covering to insulation, mechanically fixed 30mm carrier boards over current insulation using ‘cold bridging mushroom system’, partially bonded underlay and mineral cap-sheet.
This project now exceeds building regulations and has an insurance back material and workmanship guarantee.
